The following promotion is intended for participants in the United Kingdom only and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of England and Wales. Do not proceed in this promotion if you are not a legal resident of the United Kingdom.
1. THE PROMOTER
The promoter is Clinical Trials Laboratory Services of 58 Wood Lane | Second Floor | West London | W12 7RZ.
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1 The title of the competition is "Coffee on Us Sweepstakes" The CTLS "Coffee on Us Sweepstakes" will comprise of the following:
(a) bi-monthly competitions (Competitions) which will run from the 1st day of odd months to the final day of the following even month inclusive for the following periods: 1 September 2022 to 31 October 2022
2.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promotor (in accordance with conditions 3.1 or 3.2) by no later than 11:59pm on:
(a) the relevant Closing Date, in respect of Bi-Monthly Competition.
All entries received after 31 October 2022 are automatically disqualified.
2.3 The winners are chosen in accordance with the laws of chance by a random draw performed by a computer process that produces verifiably random results on or around:
(a) in respect of the Competitions, two (2) business days after the relevant Closing Date (Bi-Monthly Draw).
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To enter the Monthly Competitions you must:
(a) Complete a donation collection during the competition period;
3.2 Alternatively, you can also enter the Competition by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating that you would like to participate in the competition and including "Coffee on Us Sweepstakes" in the subject line.
3.3 You are not required to make a donation or purchase in order to enter the competitions and not doing so will not affect your chances of winning the prize.
3.4 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above. Immediate family member is defined as a parent, sibling or any person residing in same household as employee.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) duplicated in a single day;
(b) automatically generated by computer;
(c) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(d) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
4.4 There is no limit of entries to each Competition per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 The prizes for the Competition is one (1) £15 Starbucks e-gift card.
5.2 The prize is not negotiable or transferable and no substitution is permitted, except by the Promotor, who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, if a prize, or a portion of a prize, becomes unavailable.
6.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 The winners will be notified by email, telephone, overnight carrier or regular mail within approximately ten (10) days of each Monthly Draw and the Final Draw. If the Promotor is unable to contact the winners after reasonable effort, or if the winners fail to respond within three (3) days of the first attempted notification, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the relevant Closing Date or the Grand Competition Closing Date (as the case may be).
6.3 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails email@example.com or writes to the address set out in condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the relevant Closing Date (as the case may be).
6.4 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
7.1 If you are a winner and the Promoter has been able to contact you, please allow 30 days from the date of the relevant Closing Date (as the case may be) for delivery of the prize to you.
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.3 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 All competition entries (including the Photo) and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
9.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive all moral rights, in and to your Photo and any accompanying material otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
9.3 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you also agree to allow the Promoter to make your Photo or any accompanying material available at its donor centre, on its website (www.clintrialslab.com) and any other media including the Promoter’s Social Media accounts, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Promotor’s donor centre, services and competition.
9.4 You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given at any time by writing to the Promotor at [email@example.com or Clinical Trials Laboratory Services, 58 Wood Lane | Second Floor | West London | W12 7RZ]. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Company before you withdraw your consent.
9.5 If you have submitted a Photo, you confirm that:
(a) the Photo is a photo of you and not anyone else;
(b) the Photo is not defamatory and does not infringe third-party rights; and
(c) there are no conflicting agreements in place that restrict usage of the Photo or other submissions.
10. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

11.1This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Starbucks and you hereby agree to release Amazon from any claims associated with this promotion. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promotor and not to any of third party entity.
12.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
12.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
12.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
